Defending Champions, Dino Football Club have booked a place in the final after a 3-2 hard-fought victory over Ikorodu City feeders early Friday morning in the ongoing Lagos Supremacy Cup taking place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena popularly known as Onikan Stadium.
Irrespective of other teams’ results in today’s game in the group, Dino have ten points in their four matches.
Dino began their title campaign with a 2-0 victory against 36 Lion, drew 2-2 with Broad City and went ahead to defeat Real Sapphire 3-0. Dino early today needed an outright victory against Ikorodu City feeders which they eventually got to top the group A table.
Dino will wait for the group B winners to meet in the final. Dino is in group A along with 36 Lion FC, Ikorodu City feeders, Real Sapphire, and Broad City.
Group B are comprises of Beyond Limits, Seamoriow, MS Success FC, Charlesann FC and Bethel FC.
Teams contesting for group winners in group B are Beyond Limits, Seamoriow and Bethel FC.
Beyond Limits FC stand the brighter chance to top the group having played three matches won two and drew one a victory over Bethel FC this afternoon would give them an edge to top the group and set a final match against Dino FC.
Meanwhile, the first runner-up in each group will meet in the third-place match, scheduled for tomorrow morning at the Onikan Stadium.
