Former Super Eagles player, Wasiu Ipaye who is in charge of FC Ipaye football team remains optimistic that his boys are in high spirit and ready to give FC Babington football team a run for their money when both clash in the return leg of round of 32 of the ongoing Nigeria Ex Internationals Cup taking place across centres in Lagos.
The first leg ended barren draw at Mobolaji Johnson Arena popularly Onikan Stadium recently. FC Babington were at home and failed to win their first leg and makes a return leg tough for the Babington boys in the reverse fixture.
Ipaye while speaking ahead of the return leg to our correspondent on Tuesday morning expressed confidence in the ability of his boys saying that his target is to win and progress to the round of 16.
“We have been preparing for the match and i cannot afford to draw or lose to our opponents.Every coach wants to win any competition so i want to win too.
“I know that It is not going to be easy match for us because our opponents are equally a good side too, but I strongly believe that we would come out victorious at the end of the match,” he said.
Meanwhile the round of 32 return leg continues this week as FC Benson Edema welcome FC Enegwae on 11th by 12noon at the Maracana Stadium, Ajegunle.
FC Temile would be a guest to FC Agbai on 13th, by 11am at the FIFA legacy pitch of National Stadium, Surulere, while FC Rufai Host FC Okpara on 15th June by 11am at the Mind Builders School, Ikeja.
