At the end of Day 3 of competition at the ValueJet Cup 2023 on Sunday, Remo Stars Fc maintained lead in Group A with 5 points after they played a 1-1 draw against Heartland FC at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State.
This result kept Heartland FC in the bottom of the table position with just one point as competition runs into Day 4.
In second place in Group A is Kwara United after their goalless draw against Sporting Lagos. Kwara United now have 5 points, while Sporting Lagos sit on the third position on the table with 4 points. Heartland FC that played a 1-1 against Remo Stars got their first point, 1 point occupy the bottom of the table.
In Group B, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan played a goalless draw against Rivers United, to still hold on the lead of the group with 5points. In second place in Group B is Beyond Limits FA after their 2-0 win over Abia Warriors. Beyond Limits have 4 points. Rivers United are in third position with 2points after their barren draw against Shooting Stars, while Abia Warriors swim in the bottom rug with zero point.
