Supporters of Super Accurate celebrated and rejoiced after their darling team recorded 1-0 victory against former champions, B.United Football Academy on Tuesday morning in the ongoing U-15 Seamoriow football championship taking place at Seamoriow Sports Complex, Abaranje Road, Ikotun, Alimosho, Lagos.
Some of the die hard supporters of Super Accurate were excited and happy the way the match ended. Few of them who spoke to outr correspondent described the game a tough battle but they thanked God for the hard fought victory.
An early goal from Roqueeb Okunade was Super Accurate Football Academy needed to defeat their opponents in a pulsating tie watched by mammoth crowd.
Both teams are tournament favourite but a goal from Okunade in 3th minutes gave Super Accurate to secure their first victory and three points in group D comprises of Victory FA and Bucknor FA.
The two teams played purposeful football and several scoring chances were created which could not be converted by the two sides as a result of poor finishing on the part of their strikers.
Speaking after the match, Super Accurate coach, Idris Oseni disclosed that the game was keenly contested and commended his boys for securing three points at the end of the encounter.
“The early goal really helped us to win the game and I am happy that we did not disappoint our teeming fans who came here to support us. It was a tension soaked match because both teams are favourite tournament. We want to focus on our next match so that we can quickly secure our quarter final ticket before our last match, “he said.
In other results, Fortune FA whitewashed Simario FA 6-1, Arewa Warriors staged a 2-2 comeback against Miracle FA as Victory FA played barrren draw against Bucknor FA.
Four matches would hold on Wednesday as Dazzle FA face defending champions,Seamoriow by 9am, VI.Foot FA tackle Adwaaik FA by 10:45am, Pumah Boys confront Royalty Athletic by noon as ADHOC FA battle Shuffle Select FA by 1:30pm.
