Former player and striker of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens Football Club of Lagos, Peace Odilile Ikediuaba, has joined ASEC Mimosas women football team of Cote d Ivoire, Abidjan on a year deal.
Ikediuaba who started her football career with Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Queens of Lagos also played for professional club, Nasarawa Amazons Football Club before she finally joined Ivorian club recently with a year deal.
General Manager of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Muftau Eletu who was in Cote d Ivoire recently to witness the official signing ceremony confirmed to our correspondent that Ikediuaba has finally agreed to play for ASEC Mimosas women team of Cote d’Ivoire till 2027.
Eletu explained that the new signing with Ivorian women football club was a good move and thanked the Chairman of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens Football Club, Prince Kazeem Eletu-Odibo, for the support given the player in the last few years.

When Ikediuaba was in Nasarawa Amazons, she did not only play for the Northern club in the league, she also garnered enough experience that would make her compete with her colleagues in the new club.
“Ikediuaba has formally signed for ASEC mimosas women team, one of the best women’s clubs in Cote d Ivoire. Her signing was a good move and I am confident that she would excel in ASEC mimosas when their league kicks off.
“When I told the chairman about her move to Cote d Ivoire, he was happy and wished her best of luck in her new club,” he said.
He, however, advised Ikediuaba to give her best in Cote d Ivoire noted that the Ivorian league is competitive and standardised.
He reminded Ikediuaba that the only way she can be in the starting line-up for her team is to show high level of determination and commitment in training sessions and pre- season matches before the beginning of the league.
