More than hundred fans of Super Accurate on Tuesday afternoon were disappointed after there darling team crashed out in the quarter final of the ongoing U-15 Seamoriow football championship taking place at the Seamoriow Sports Complex, Abaranje Road, Ikotun, Lagos.
Super Accurate who came to the match venue with the hundreds of their supporters were completely dejected following their 4-1 defeat suffered in the hands of Pumah FA through penalty shootout.
The encounter which ended barran draw at the full time lived up to expectations as both teams displayed football artistry throughout the pulsating tie.
The two teams could not find the back of the net at the regulation time despite their many scoring chances.Thanks to the two goal keepers who made some saves in the high tension soaked match.
Out correspondent observed that after the match, some fans of Super Accurate were not happy, while some of them commended their players for brilliant performance others blamed them for poor penalty kicks during the shootout.
One of the fans who spoke to our correspondent said Super Accurate gave everything for the match unfortunately they were not lucky during the penalties. Some of the fans left the match venue with annoyance, only few of them consoled the tearful Super Accurate players who could not control their emotions.
In other quarter final matches played on Tuesday, defending champions, Seamoriow thrashed Fortune FA 4-2, Shuffle Select demolished B. United 8-0, while Arewa FA defeated Dazzle FA 6-5 on penalties after one goal apiece at the regulation time.
The semi final matches would hold on Thursday.Defending champions, Seamoriow FA battle Shuffle Select FA by 10am, while Arewa Boys face Dazzle FA by 11:45am.
Meanwhile the cup donor, Oluwaseyi Amos has in his press statement congratulated the four semi finalists for their impressive performance throughout the competition and wished them best of luck in their remaining matches.
