As Fifth edition of U-15 Seamoriow Championship is drawing nearer, organisers have made it clear to the interested teams that there is no automatic slot for any team except defending champions,Seamoriow Football Academy.
Tournament coordinator, Olayinka Olajide in his message to the platform stated that interested teams are expected to follow normal procedures and ensure that they have fulfilled the requirements of the tournament before applying for the registration.
He said teams who fail to meet the requirements of the championship would not be considered at all and urged the club owners to abide by the laid down rules of the competition.
“Please kindly note that only teams that apply for this year edtion will be considered for possible considerations to participate.
“We have teams on this platform that have shown no interest and it will be recorded as not interested to reapply for this year’s edition.I will also like to remind us that only the defending champions,Seamoriow FA (2025) has automatic slot for this year’s edition.
“All teams on this platform will be remove two weeks to the screening date to enable the qualified 16 teams and stand by teams to have the feeling and show readiness towards the championship.Thanks for your understanding,”the statement reads.
