SWS International President Welcomes 2025, Charges Members And Nigerians to Remain Focused

Barrister Deborah Ijadele-Adetona, International President of Standup for Women Society (SWS), congratulates members and Nigerians on witnessing the dawn of a new year, 2025.


In her New Year message, she commends SWS members worldwide for their tireless efforts in promoting the welfare of women and vulnerable individuals through advocacy and intervention.

Barrister Ijadele-Adetona urges members to remain resolute in their pursuit of the organization’s vision and mission, which seeks to eradicate abuse, assault, and injustice against women and weaker members of society. She emphasizes the importance of focus in the fight against gender-based violence, girl mutilation, and other forms of oppression.

As the voice for the voiceless and hope for those who have lost it, SWS is committed to creating a just and equitable society.
