The Nigerian Communications C0ommission (NCC) attended the 2024 NITDA CO-CREATE West Africa Tech Exhibition and Gage Awards which held in Lagos.
Represented by the Director Public Affairs, NCC, Mr Reuben Muoka, the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian telecommunications regulatory body, Dr Aminu Maida, in his keynote address said at the event that “Nigeria boasts of a large and youthful population, eager to embrace technology and innovation and this vibrant startup scene is fueled by a growing pool of talent, including skilled developers, engineers, and entrepreneurs hence the need to create a more conducive environment for startups to thrive and scale.”
Dignitaries who graced the occasion included Dr Krish Ranganath, Regional Executive, Africa Data Centres West Africa, Chizor Malize MD FITC, Mr. Kashifu Inuwa, Director General of NITDA, Mr. Johnson Anorh, founder of The GAGE Company, Joy Francis, Director, Initiatives and Partnership, Mr. Tunji Jimoh, Zonal Controller NCC Lagos Zonal Office and a host of others.
