Coach Raymond Akaluogbo Takes Over LSFCA Secretariat, Urges Football Coaches To Support His Administration

The Acting Chairman of Lagos State Football Coaches Association (LSFCA), Raymond Akaluogbo, has called on football coaches to support his administration and pray for him as he is piloting the affairs of the association in the next two months.

Akaluogbo was appointed by Central Working Committee, CWC of Lagos State Football Coaches Association LSFCA on Monday afternoon following the indefinite suspension of emabattled chairman, Tairu Adewale Hassan and his secretary, Rasheed Sulaiman.

Coach Victor Akinmoyo who presided the CWC meeting on Monday afternoon handed the constitutions of both Nigeria Football Coaches Association,NFCA and Lagos State Football Coaches Association LSFCA to Akaluogbo to take the affairs of the association with immediate effect.

He tasked the acting chairman to work with the existing structures and ensure that he carries everybody along in his administration.

He also admitted that there are challenges lie ahead of him and promised that the CWC is committed to rally round him to support his administration.

Speaking with our correspondent after he was appointed as acting chairman, Akaluogbo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the council leaders and secretaries for the appointment and promised to give his best during the shortest time before him.

“In the spirit of oneness and unity,I have accepted the appointment in good faith and I want all the Lagos football coaches to pray for me and give our administration all the support so that we can deliver the tasks before us.Once again I thank the CWC for the job well done,”he said.

In a related development, CWC on Monday unanimously appointed Coach Lanre Olojo as a chairman of 2026 Electoral Committee.Olojo is a member of Alimosho Football Coaches Council.

The newly appointed chairman electoral committee is saddled to conduct a free and fair elections and he is expected to roll out electorial guidelines in the next few days.
