The family of the mother of the Chairman of Overland Airways, Captain Edward Boyo, has announced the final burial plans of their late mother, Mama Claudiana Esther Boyo, who passed on to glory at the age of 90.
According to the head of the family, Dr. Kenneth Oritsemuyiwa Boyo, the burial rites will commence with a Service of Songs and Tributes on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at The Citadel Conference & Event Centre, 30, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Lagos.
The Funeral Service will hold on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Church Street, off Olowu Street, Ikeja, Lagos, followed by the interment service.
The final rite will be wrapped up with a Thanksgiving Service which will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Church Street, off Olowu Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
Fondly remembered as a devoted Christian, a loving mother and grandmother, and a woman deeply committed to her community, Mama Boyo lived a life that touched many lives Mrs. Boyo is survived by: Dr. Kenneth Oritsemuyiwa Boyo, Capt. Edward Utienyenretsola Boyo, Barr. Christopher Toritseju Boyo, Dr. Henry Oritsemamidida Boyo, Mrs. Helen Oritsejolomi Archer, FCA, Mr. Michael Ozor Obayuwana-Boyo, Engr. Agboola Oladehin.
Others are Mr. Lalu Archer, Mrs. Olubukola Boyo, FCA, Prof. Adenike Boyo, Barr. Aniekan Boyo, Barr. Besidone Esther Boyo, and Mrs. Kemi Obayuwana Boyo, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
