Organisers of Holiday Gold Cup have announced the sales of forms for the U-13 and 15 categories of the competition.
The competition will begin next month at Ijegun playground, Ijegun, Alimosho, Lagos.
Match coordinator, Sheriff Olokodana disclosed that the registration is still in progress noted that interested club owners would pay the sum of N12,000 for the U-13 category for registration fees.
He further said club owners who are interested in U-15 category would pay the sum of N15,000 for registration fees.Olokodana revealed that there are many clubs indicated their interests and only few club owners have paid and completed their registration forms.
“Honestly we have seen club owners from far and near who are interested in our competition but only few have shown commitment.Others have made their promises but once the registration is closed there is no room for late registration,”he said.
Olokodana quickly reminded the club owners that organisers are targeting 12 teams in each category noted that there is no room to expand the registered number of the teams.
“The screening exercise is coming up on August 8 and we are looking for small numbers of teams to complete the actual numbers to add it with what we have and once it is completed we would close the registration forms,”he concluded
