New Revolution Cup: Organisers Congratulate SPS After Defeating IGFC Boys In Final

Local Organising Committee of New Revolution Cup has congratulated SPS football club from Badagry following their 4-3 victory over Igando Football Club IGFC in a recent final held at the Egan football pitch.

SPS defeated their opponents 4-3 on penalties after one goal apiece at the regulation time in an encounter watched by mammoth crowd.

Chairman Organising Committee,Lucky Osewe Omozokpia said the two finalists did excellently well on the field of play despite heavy downpour but noted that the game of penalty shootout can be won by any team.

He disclosed that the two teams had not lost a single match enroute to their final and commended the finalists for their brilliant efforts in all their matches.

Omozokpia particularly commended the dogedness and determination of SPS boys in their campaigns saying that their victory was well deserved.

“On behalf of Local Organising Committee, I congratulate SPS boys from Badagry who exhibited high level of discipline and courage throughout their campaigns of the tournament. They came, saw and conquered.

” I want to use this medium to congratulate them for winning New Revolution Cup and I also thank other members of the committee, participating teams, media, match officials and fans for their contributions to the success of the competition, “he said.
