Chekas United feeders are still maintaining unbeaten run following the 3-1 victory over Young Strikers FC on Wednesday morning in the ongoing Lagos State League known as LSFA State League.
Chekas United feeders who defeated Bucknor in their last home match went to Maracana Stadium, Ajegunle and revenged defeat suffered in the hands of Young Strikers last season.
Nnaji Elochukwu opened the goal scoring in the 51th minutes to give Chekas boys advantage.Both teams played purposeful football but a goal from Uche Ezeome was Chekas United feeders needed to take the game out of their opponents.
Chinecherem Okeke who was delight to watch was on rampage in the pulsating tie as he scored the third goal for Chekas boys in the 80th minutes to confirm their supremacy over Young Strikers.
Reacting to the victory, Chekas Coach, Richard Nwosu commended his boys for their doggedness and fighting spirit exhibited throughout the encounter and admonished his players to remain focused.
Chekas United feeders have seven point in the Atlantic conference group having played three matches won two and drew one.
Meanwhile attention would be shifted to Ikorodu as defending champions, Arubinjaga FA would welcome Ama Smile on Friday by 3pm.
Arubinjaga FA are condemned to win their next match following their defeat against Brave FC in their last match.
Chairman of Arubinjaga,Adeboye Adebayo said the match is a local derby and urged his players and coaching crew to go for three points.
“It is going to be a tough match and it is local derby game.Both teams are in Ikorodu and it would be an interesting game.I am optimistic that my boys would come victorious at the end of the game,”he said.
