Lagos FA Cup: Asisat Oshoala Coach Ready For FC Robo Queens Test

One of the matches that would draw the attention of fans in the quarter final of female Lagos State Challenge Cup known as Lagos FA Cup is an encounter between premier side, FC Robo Queens against Asisat Oshoala Football Academy

The much anticipated match will hold on Sunday by 1pm at the Inspire Stadium,Oshodi,Lagos.

Based on the current form of both teams,it is obvious that FC Robo Queens are in their best form and they are ready to crush any team that come their way.Presently they are doing well Nigeria Women’s Football League.

On the other hands, Asisat Oshoala with their young players are ready to cause upset.Their target is to win their opponents but to achieve this tall order, Asisat Oshoala girls need to double their efforts to beat almighty FC Robo Queens.

Speaking ahead of the encounter,Asisat Oshoala coach,Kazeem Alabi said his girls are not afraid of their opponents boasting that they are in Lagos FA Cup to make a statement.

He however admitted that their opponents are a strong side and doing well in Nigeria Women’s league but Alabi popularly known as Ewe insisted that his girls are in high spirit and ready to give their opponents a run for their money

In other fixtures, Dannaz Ladies face Ghetto Tigers by 3pm, while Dynamite Queens battle Dream Stars by 5pm.

The match between Phoenix Queens and Unification Queens has been postponed until further notice.

A total of eight teams are registered for the competition.A Winners in each match would book a place in the semi final stage.
