A Lagos based football enthusiast, Dr Kolapo Kolade has congratulated Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Alhaji Liammed Olawale Gafar for the success of the just concluded Jagaban Cup and Lagos FA Cup held at the Onikan Stadium.
Kolade who is a NPFL football match commissioner in a statement expressed satisfaction with the organisation and quality of teams participated at the recent concluded Jagaban Cup and commended the organisers for the job well done.
“Let me congratulate Alhaji Gafar for the successful hosting of Jagaban Cup.The competition has not really brought the best out of the participants but also empowered the youths and gave them a platform to showcase their talents to the scouts who were on ground to watch all the matches.
“I am equally impressed with the superb organisation and officiating of the tournament and i must commend the people who are behind it because they really did a thorough job to ensure that the tourney lived up to expectations,”he said.
Kolade also extended his congratulatory message to the leadership of Lagos State Football Association, LSFA led by Alhaji Gafar for making this year’s Lagos FA Cup a memorable one.
He described this year’s edition a successful one saying that the tournament really brought football stakeholders to the match venue to watch the biggest football competition in the state.
He, however, congratulated Ikorodu City and FC Robo Queens for retaining their titles won last year saying that all the finalists in both categories would represent the state well at the federation cup.
