Electoral Guidelines Finally Out As Lagos Football Coaches Ready For Elections

It appears that the elections into the Lagos State Football Coaches Association, LSFCA, are getting clearer as the Electoral Committee, headed by Coach Mogaji Ibrahim Adewale, has released the guidelines for aspirants who want to purchase their nomination forms for the various positions in the forthcoming LSFCA elections.

In an electoral guidelines sent out this week and signed by Secretary of the committee, Aina Samuel,the sales of nomination forms commences today (June 3 and closes on June 17,2026.)

The submission of completed forms is slated between 20 to 21,June,2026 at Campos Sports Center,Lagos Island.

The guidelines states that the interested aspirants are expected to pick their nomination forms at 114,Tokunboh Street,Lagos Island.

Screening of aspirants according to the guidelines would hold on 27,June,2026 at the Campos Sports Center.

On the positions and cost of nomination forms, the guidelines states that aspirants who are interested in position of chairmanship and Training Officer would purchase their forms with the sum of N100,000

Aspirants who are vying for the positions of first and second vice Chairman as well as General Secretary are expected to purchase their forms with the sum of N70,000.

In addition, aspirants who are interested in a positions of Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Public Relations Officer,(PRO), Welfare Secretary, Provost and Assistant Training Officer are expected to purchase their nomination forms with the sum of N50,000.

Meanwhile only Ojo Oyebode, a member of Ikeja Football Coaches Council some months ago declared his intention to run for the office of Public Relations Officer, PRO.

Following the guidelines released by the electoral committee,some football coaches in the state have faulted the guidelines, while some said the requirements needed for the various positions are not stated others described the sales of nomination forms outrageous and expensive for the football coahes who want to serve the state selflessly.

When our correspondent contacted chairman electoral committee on the matter arising, his phone was ringing and no response.
