Organisers of the End Of The Season tournament have praised participating teams for their impressive form during the tournament.
The tournament, which kicked off recently at the Ashiriabo football pitch, Badagry Express Road was sponsored by old players of Kedge Sports FC.
Tournament coordinator, Noah Omotunde disclosed after all the teams had played their first game saying that the eight teams tourney has lived up to expectations in terms of team’s performance and spirit of sportmanship displayed by the participants.
“I must confess that all the teams played good football and showed commitment to the tournament.We had a smooth competition and the participants also played according to the rules and regulations,”he said.
In the matches played so far, Morning Stars defeated Super Stars/Micro Giant,3-2, Young Star lost 0-1 to JP young Stars as Tico humbled Oscar Rovers 2-0.
Three matches would be played next week as FEDAN face Super Stars/Micro Giant, Morning Stars tackle Kedge Sports,JP young Stars battle Oscar Rovers as Tico boys confront Young Star.
