Head Coach of Liam’s Heights Football Academy, Williams Azenabor, has expressed. confidence that his boys are in good shape to perform well in the forthcoming Oba Akran Cup

The Oba Akran Cup is organised by Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA under the leadership of Dr Martins Osondu

The competition would kick off this month across various centres.

Liam’s Height Sports Academy would face Junior ECAS in the preliminary stage.

Azenabor, while chatting with our correspondent recently, said his team have engaged in a series of friendly matches, boasting that his boys would give their opponents a run for their money during the tournament.

“My expectations are high, the boys are in a good frame of mind. I must confess that their fitness level, technical abilities, tactical play and psychological aspects are excellent, and they are ready for any challenge.

“Our recent friendlies show that my boys are mentally ready for the Oba Akran Cup, and they are looking forward to their opening match. We still need to play more friendlies to make the players prepare well for the other future high-profile football competitions, “he said.
