Table toppers, Samjason Football Club would face tougher match as they face Kedge Sports Football Club in week four of the ongoing Alimosho Football Coaches Council Championship.
The much anticipated match would hold on Thursday by 8am at the Air Force Base, Shasha,Lagos.
Both teams have not lost a match since the league started.Samjason are currently leading the table while Kedge Sports and Seamoriow FC trailing behind them on the table.
Samjason, no doubt have good young players who are dangerous in attack.Samjason scored more than ten goals in their three matches showing that the team are a scoring side. Kedge Sports defenders and goalie need to work hard to curtail onslaught of their opponents comes on Thursday.
On the other hand, Kedge Sports have experienced players who are determined to go far in the league.Kedge are a compact team especially in defence.They are top two teams that conceded less goals in this league.
Samjason strikers would double their efforts in order to break the defenceline of their opponents.
The match promises to be a tough and tension soaked match considering the fact that a winner in the pulsating tie would top the table.
Meanwhile Sammy would face another tough game on Thursday as they face Seamoriow FC by 12noon.Seamoriow is another tough club who are still maintaining unbetaen run in the league.
A victory for Seamoriow against their opponents would give them edge to top the table if Samjason and Kedge Sports match ends in stalemate.
Sammy Coach, Taiwo Eletu in a chat with our correspondent said their match against Seamoriow would be a battle to the finish and boasted that his boys are in high spirits to take their opponents to cleaners.
“Our defeat to Kedge Sports is an eye opener and very unfortunate.We are looking forward to our next match against Seamoriow.It is going to be another tough match for us but we cannot afford to slip again,”he said.
Other matches on Thursday, Attention FC face Realms Athletics by 10am, while Zion Breed battle SSFBC by 2pm.
In another development, Alimosho Football Coaches Council last week celebrated one of the council members, coach, Isaac Jegede for winning gold medal in football event for LASU Ladies at the just concluded All African University Games, which qualifies them to the World University Games in Germany next year.
The Council Leader, Uchenna Samuel Eke is proud of Jegede exploits and described him a very focused and determined coach who is hungry for success.
He said Jegede acquires various certificates in modern day football which really helped his coaching career at the just concluded All African University Games held in Lagos
