LSFA State League: Respect Hephzibah, Chekas United Feeders Boss Tells Players Ahead Week 6 Matches

Chairman of Chekas United feeders, Chekwube Uzoegbo has urged his players and coaching crew to respect Hephzibah Football Club when both teams clash on Friday at the ongoing week six of Lagos State League.

Chekas United feeders would host Hephzibah boys on Friday morning by 9am at the Navy Barrack Ground, Alakija, Lagos.

In a chat with our correspondent on Tuesday in Lagos, Uzoegbo said he did not expect his boys to underrate his opponents rather to give them respect as a team and ensure that they approach them with all seriousness.

He disclosed that Hephzibah FC are a good side and qualified from Ikeja Divisional League to State League saying that such a team deserve respect than underrating them.

“We are playing against Hephzibah boys at home but I have talked to my coaching crew and players to respect them when they play against them on Friday.We would respect them because they qualified from a division to the State League and my boys would approach the game like a Cup final,”he said.

Commenting on the LSFA league so far, Uzoegbo expressed satisfaction with the organisation and officiating of the league and thanked the organisers for the job well done.

Asked if his team stand the chance of qualifying for the Super four play off, Uzoegbo said every team could qualify for the super four insisted that his target now is to see his team perform well in their remaining matches.
