Kedge Sports Football Club would clash with Tico Football Club in the second semi final of End of This Season football tournament scheduled to hold on Wednesday by 9:30 am at the Ashiriabo playground,Iyana-Era, Badagry Express Road, Lagos.
The eight teams format which kicked off some weeks ago is being sponsored by former players of Kedge Sports FC.
To qualify for the semi final stage, Kedge Sports humbled Morning Stars 4-1,while Tico lost 1-2 to Young Stars but qualified as second position in their group.
The match between Kedge Sports and Tico boys on Wednesday morning promises to be tough as both teams played purposeful football in the tournament.
In the other semi final,FEDAN boys to tackle Young Stars/Oscar FC by 7am same venue.
Match coordinator, Noah Omotunde confirmed that the two semi finals would hold on Wednesday morning and urged the fans to shun violence during and after the game.
He explained that some disciplinary measures were carried out during the tournament as JP Young Stars who came top in their group were disqualified after using suspended players in their last match against Oscar FC.
He also disclosed that Young Stars have been fined a sum of N20,000 for misconduct during the tournament and announced the suspension of two Young Stars players namely Austin Ajunwa and Franklin Iheme for violating the rules of the tournament.
He however reminded the participants to see the tournament a developmental football programme not a do or die affairs.
