Lagos State League: Hat-trick Hero Promises To Punish Chekas United

BY SUNDAY AKINTOYE

Heritage striker and Hat-trick Hero, Moses Daniel has expressed confidence that he would continue to score more goals in subsequent matches in the ongoing Lagos State League which kicked off recently across five football divisions in the state.

Daniel said this after he scored three goals against Young Strikers recently in their week one of the league. The match ended 5-0 in favour of Heritage.

Heritage will be away against Chekas United today by 3pm at the CVD Volks Army Command,Ojo, Badagry Express Way.

The Kaduna-born player explained that scoring goals is part of his responsibility as a striker and boasted that he would score against Chekas United and other teams in the league.

“I used to score for my club as a striker either in friendly matches or competitions and this is not the first time I score three goals in a match. I am targeting another hat-trick against Chekas United because like I said scoring goals is my job on the field of play as a good striker,” he said.

Commenting on his future career, Daniel said his target is to start his professional career in Europe but noted that if any NPFL club show interest in him, he would honour their offers.

“I am not ending my career in Heritage but I would be happy if I start my professional football career in Europe. Perhaps if any NPFL club show interest in me, I will honour them but I would prefer to play for Abia Warriors if at all I want to play for any Nigerian league side,” he said
