United Nations Honours Lagos SWAN Chairman Oladunni, Decorates Her As A Peace Ambassador

In a colourful ceremony held at the weekend, the first female chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter, Olatutu Oladunni, was honoured by the United Nations as a Peace Ambassador under the Peace Keeping Mission.

She was also recognized by the International World Peace Advocate, Foreign Affairs Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution, and the Peace Advocacy Network.

Joining her in this prestigious recognition were notable figures, including the King of Nupe, Etsu Yahaya Abubakar CFR, also an awardee, and Ambassador Kirti Sudanshi, a member of the UN Peacekeeping Mission.

This recognition is a testament to Olatutu Oladunni’s dedication to promoting peace and conflict resolution in Lagos and beyond.

Her leadership and commitment to peace advocacy have made a significant impact, and this honor is well-deserved.
