Usefulyouth Sports Academy are fully ready to confront Samjason Football Academy in week one of the U -16 Alimosho Football Coaches Council Championship.
Usefulyouth boys would welcome Samjason Academy on Friday by 3pm at DOG Command Barrack Center, Ipaja Command, Alimosho, Lagos.
The championship is put together by Alimosho Football coaches Council under the leadership of Samuel Uchenna Eke.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s clash, head Coach of Usefulyouth boys, Olufemi Ojo expressed his readiness for the championship saying that his boys are in good frame of mind to take their opponents to the cleaners.
He noted that his boys are also in high spirit and they cannot afford to lose their home match and warned their opponents to prepare for tough time in their away match.
“We are looking forward to our first game against solid team, Samjason. Our opponents are a good side and I am happy we are meeting them in week one of the championship. It is going to be a tough match for them because my boys are mentally, and tactically prepared to face them comes on Friday, ” he boasts.
In other match slated for Friday, Ola Stars would be at home against Clear Path FA by 3pm.Three matches would hold on Saturday while Sammy FS would be a guest to Realm Athletics by 9:30am at Airforce Base, Shahsha, Wonderlight FA welcome Golden Wealth FA by 2pm as Vision Stars would visit Stars XI FA in their encounter stated for noon.
Match coordinator, Oku Eden Oku said arrangements have been put in place to kick start the championship and all the participating teams have met the organisers requirements.
He also thanked the that the screening exercise done recently was a huge success saying that all the teams are fully ready for the championship.
He however urged the teams to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship and shun vices that’s can tarnish the image of the championship. He sounded note of warning to all coaches to shun violence saying that team found wanting during or after the match would be sanctioned accordingly.
