Samjason Football Academy stand the chance of reaching the semi final stage when they host Wonder Light Football Academy on Saturday in the reverse fixture of U-16 Alimosho Football Coaches Council Championship.
The match would hold by noon at Egan football pitch, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos. Their first meeting ended 2-0 in favour of Samjason.
Samjason just need a draw at home this weekend to qualify for the semi finals. If Samjason lose by a lone goal against the visiting team, they also qualify for the next stage. Wonder Light can qualify if they beat Samjason three goals up which might be a tall order for the visiting tram.
Clear Path boys also stand of reaching the next stage when they confront Sammy FA on Sunday by 4pm at Anthony Village football pitch, Oshodi.
The visiting team, Path boys defeated Sammy boys 2-1 in their home last week and Sammy need a miracle to beat their opponents this Sunday if they want to qualify for the next stage.
Sammy coach, Samuel Haruna said all hope is not lost boasting that his boys would give the homers a run for their money.
“If they come here and beat us, we can as well shock them in their home ground. We are not afraid of them but we only respect them as a good team. We are ready and I am looking forward to the match comes Sunday,” he said.
Meanwhile Golden Wealth Academy would face a difficult match when they confront Ola Stars on Friday. Golden Wealth played 1-1 with Ola Stars in their home and playing them tomorrow would be a difficult match. Golden Wealth need outright win against their opponents before reaching the semi finals.
Realm Athletics would be at away against Vision Stars on Friday by 2pm.Realm Athletics lost 1-2 at home against Vision Stars last week and Realm Athletics need to win at least unreplied two goals to qualify for the next stage. Vision Stars are aware of their opponents threat and they would double their effort to win at home too.
Match coordinator, Oku Eden Oku said all the teams are ready for their reverse fixtures and urged the participants to show spirit of sportsmanship in their various respective matches.
