The battles for quarter final tickets begin on Friday in the ongoing U-15 Seamoriow football championship taking place at Seamoriow Sports Complex, Abaranje Road, Ikotun, Alimosho, Lagos.
Aside Seamoriow Football Academy, Fortune FA and Super Accurate that have officially qualified for the quarter finals having won their two previous matches,some teams need to play their last group match yo determine if they would qualify or not while others just need a draw to reach the last eight.
All the last group matches would begin on Friday and Saturday. A total of 16 teams are taking part in the tournament sponsored by Seamoriow Sports Limited under the leadership of Pastor Oluwaseyi Amos.
In the matches lined up for Friday,Seamoriow FA that have already qualified would face Adwaaik FA by 9am.Seamoriow Boys just need a draw to top the group A, while Adwaaik need to beat Seamoriow convincingly to stand the chance of reaching the last eight.
Still in Group A, Dazzle FA would battle VI.Foot FC by 10:45am.Dazzle must beat its opponents and wish Seamoriow to win or draw their opponents to maintain second position and qualify for the quarter finals.
In Group B, Royalty Athletic tackle Shuffle Select by noon. Shuffle Select have four points having played two matches and they need to win their last game to stand a chance of reaching last eight. Royalty Athletic have lost their two previous matches and a win for them would not take them to anywhere.
A draw for Shuffle Select against Royalty Athletic might not be too good for them as they would wait for the outcome of other game in the group. Shuffle Select need a win to guarantee them a place in the quarter final in respective of the result in the group.
Still in Group B, a match between Pumah FA and ADHOC FA scheduled for 1:30pm would be a star match as both teams need a win to stand a chance of reaching last eight. ADHOC won one and drew one in their last two games, while Pumah lost one and won one.
A draw might favour ADHOC boys while Pumah’s qualification would be delayed pending the outcome of a match between Shuffle Select and Royalty Athletic FA.
In the matches played on Thursday, Miracle Boys lost 3-5 to Fortune FA, Arewa Warriors whipped Simario FA 5-1, Super Accurate demolished Bucknor FA 5-0 as B.United Boys thrashed Victory Boys 4-1.
