U-15 Prince Gas Cup Kicks Off In Lagos As 16 Teams Battle For Title

A total of 16 teams across various places in Lagos are expected to feature in the U-15 Prince Gas Cup scheduled to kick off on Saturday at the Proposed Palace playground, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.

The 16 teams are divided into four groups.Group A are Royal Warriors FC, Bucknor Feeders, Sharp Strikers and Lake FA

Group B are made up of Future Star, Balo FA, Samjason Feeders and Akins FC, while group C consist of Young Tigers, White Soccer Temple, IGFC and Badro FC as group D consist Sammy FC, GSS, Samba Tornadoes and Danny FC

Five matches would be played on Saturday according to fixtures released by the organisers.Royal FC face Bucknor,Future Stars tackle Balo Seadorf, Samjason Feeders tackle Akins FC, while Young Tigers battle White Soccer as Royal W face Lake FA.

Match coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamonsi said the competition is organised to keep some football academies busy and bring their young lads to the limelight.

He explained that the under aged competition would help the coaches to assess their players who recently registered with them and give them the ample opportunity to play a competitive tourney of this magnitude.
