Chairman Chekas United Football Club, Uzoegbo Chekwube has commended Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA for its effort toward organising Rising Stars Football League which begins in May across various centers in the division.
The Rising Stars Football League in conjunction BDFA would begin with 96 teams across the state.
Chekwube who doubles as one of the Patrons of BDFA said he was delighted to see the division planning to organise Rising Stars League and urged them to give all the participating teams a level playground.
“This is a good intiative and i commend the leadership of BDFA led by Martins Osondu for collaborating with league sponsor and bring this league to our domain.This is biggest achievement the division has recorded in the recent time and i strongly believe that all the participants would be treated equally,”he said.
In another development, BDFA recently has annouced Bishop Lawson Shedrack as new vice chairman of the division.
In a statement sent to our correspondent states that Shedrack was unanimously agreed by board members.Shedrack would now run the division incase if BDFA boss is not around.His works start with immediate effect.
