The Saki Township Stadium, Oyo State came alive on Monday morning as players from various places in the state gave good account of themselves in the trials organised by Lagos based side, Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club.
No fewer than 12 teams took part in the trials which would end on Friday.The teams played one another in day one of the trials.
The trials was organised by Honourable Shittu Ibraheem in collaboration with Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club for the players between ages of 15 through 17.
Some of the players who came to trials were young players who are hungry for success and lived up to expectations in their performance.
Kazeem Eletu Coach, Isreal Adegolu who is in charge of the trials was impressed with the players that came in day one saying that the selected players would be unveiled on Wednesday for the final screening.
“It was a successful outing in day one of the trials and we have seen some raw talents who can mentor and nurture to stardom.
“We have started working to select some players for the final screening and by Wednesday we would see them on the field of play and pick our final selection,”he concluded.
