As part of preparation ahead of 2026/27 new season, a Lagos based Club, Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club on Tuesday had officially unveiled its new team’s home and away brand jerseys.
During the unveiling of the jersey, Prince Kazeem Eletu unveiled the blue colour jersey for the home matches while the red colour jersey was unveiled for away matches.
Prince Kazeem Eletu players took individual and group photograph with the new jersey as part of their preparation ahead of the new season.
Eletu boys would begin their new season with 1XCup football tournament starting on Thursday at the Inspire Stadium, Oshodi Cappa.Eletu would face Collins Edwin FC on Friday by noon in the preliminary knockout stage same venue.
Subsequently, Eletu boys would also engage in Nationwide League One NLO U-19 Youth League and other high profile friendly matches as well as scouting football tournament as part of their activities lined up for the new season.
Speaking after the unveiling ceremony, General Manager of the club, Eletu Muftau described the unveiling of the jersey a good intiative and welcome development for the club.
Muftau said the team deserved new jersey for the new season saying that the unveiling of the new jersey is a moral boost for the players and served as motivation for them to give their best for the club in future engagements.
“I am happy that Prince Kazeem Eletu FC have unveiled its team new jersey for the new season.The players are happy for this intiative and it is part of the branding and good image of the club.
“We are using our new Jersey on Friday against Collins Edwin FC in the 1XCup and other engagements in few days to come,” he said.
