Team Manager of Bucknor Football Club, Habeeb Adebowale, says their final match against King Best Football Club on Saturday is not a do die affairs.
Bucknor would clash against King Best FC in the final of the Prince Gas Tournament scheduled for tomorrow at the Sansan football pitch, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
To reach the final stage, Bucknor thrashed IGFC 3-0, while King Best walloped Sharp Strikers 5-1 in the semi final.
Speaking ahead of crucial final tomorrow, Adebowale admitted that their final against King Best FC would be tough and charged his boys and coaching crew to play the game according to the rules.
“It is going to be a tough game for us because it is a cup final.The final should not be a do or die affairs for us but rather it should be a game that fans should enjoy.
“However, the final would also give an ample opportunity for our players to showcase their talents and assess some of our players ahead of next year high profile football competitions.
“We respect our opponents but we are not afraid of playing them.I wish my team all the best in tomorrow’s game,”he said.
Chairman Organizing Committee, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi thanked God for the hitch free tourney and urged the finalists to shun any social vices that can ruin the image of the tournament.
He disclosed that the orgainsers are ready to host a befitting closing ceremony and congratulated the finalists for reaching the final stage.
Meanwhile the U-15 Prince Gas Cup Final would come earlier tomorrow between Seedorf FC and Sharp Strikers by 12noon.
