Central Working Committee, CWC of Lagos State Football Coaches Association, LSFCA has sent a letter of invitation to the chairman, Tairu Hassan and his members of the executive body to appear before the next meeting scheduled for Thursday.
The CWC which comprises of leaders and secretaries of the football councils in the state held their meeting on Tuesday at NPA Ground premises, Surulere to deliberate critical matters relating to progress and development of the association, preparation for the forthcoming football coaches elections in the state,the electoral committee and general review of recent happenings in the LSFCA
The purpose of inviting Hassan and his executive members according to the CWC is to foster engagement, promote unity and provide opportunity for discussions on critical issues affecting the association.
A total of 17 leaders and secretaries were in attendance in a meeting lasted for two hours.Hasan and and other executive members of the body failed to attend the meeting despite the notice given to them.
In a communique issued by CWC, it has been resolved to reschedule the meeting for Thursday, in the same venue, by noon.
It has been resolved by the CWC members that Chairman of LSFCA and his executive members must attend the meeting on Thursday by noon at the NPA Ground, Surulere.
It has also been resolved by CWC that the electoral guidelines issued by Nigeria Football Coaches Association NFCA should serve as the sole operational framework governing the conduct of Lagos State Football Coaches Association 2026 elections.
The CWC emphasized that adherence to NFCA- approved guidelines will ensure credibility, fairness, transparency and conformity with established national standard.
