Organisers of the U-15 Prince Gas Football Tourney say they are fully ready to organize the annual football tourney on Saturday at the Sansan playground, Igando ,Alimosho, Lagos.
Speaking at the draws held recently in Lagos, tournament coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi told our correspondent that the aim of the competition is to discover some young talents that can be nurtured to stardom and urged the participants to exhibit the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
“All the teams that have registered for the competition are looking forward to Saturday.We have also decided to send invitations to some football stakeholders and they promised to grace the opening match and show support to the kids
“However,let me also announce that this year’s edition would be glamorous and exciting considering the new teams that have registered for the competition,”he said.
Four matches would hold on Saturday as Sammy and Pumah clash in the opening match by 1pm.
Above All FC face Roted FC by 2:45pm.Royal Warrior tackle Badro FC by 4pm, while Balo feeders take on Sharp Strikers by 5pm.
Meanwhile, a total of 32 teams are expected to take part in the competition.Organisers have decided to use three centers such as Igando,Abaranje and Agege throughout the competition.
