Team Lagos’ youngest golfer Funmilayo Beauty Oyero was on Wednesday enjoyed herself on the course of Ibori Golf Club in Asaba participating in the golf event in the colours of Lagos State at the ongoing 7th National Youth Games.
Oyero indeed used the platform provided by the Lagos State Sports Commission and Team Lagos to launch herself into the national sporting arena as her participation would forever go down in the history of the youth games being the youngest golfer on the course.
Surprisingly and to the admiration of golfers on course today, Oyero was in action for up to five hours as she played 18 Holes.
Executive Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Sola Aiyepeku, the Director, School Sports Dr. (Mrs.) Oluyomi Oluwasanmi and other top management staff of the Commission were on ground to watch the youngest golfer in town enjoying herself with her display of well composed professional golfer in the making.
