Nigeria’s foremost football fans group, the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), has congratulated Alhaji Sanni Ahmed Toro, who was a two-time Secretary General of NFF, on his 70th birthday.
In the congratulatory message signed by the National Chairman of NFSC, Ambassador (Rev). Samuel Ikpea, he described Alhaji Toro, as a most patriotic and passionate Nigerian football administrator.
“The executives and all members of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, home and in diaspora are proud and happy to celebrate this great Nigerian patriot on this special occasion of his 70th birthday.
“Alhaji Sanni Toro, is a very good and compassionate football administrator who has overtime displayed his astuteness and of course, made personal contributions and support to all sectors of the football community. We cannot forget in a hurry, his fatherly support to members of the NFSC on different occasions and including the most recent, when he personally took us to meet the Emir of Bauchi, for blessings, on our way to Cameroon for the last AFCON,” Ikpea remarked.
He went on to pray that God continue to bless and protect, Alhaji Toro, who holds the traditional title of Yerima of Toro town in Bauchi State.
“We pray that God in His infinite mercies continue to bless and protect him. We also pray that God grant him continued good health, more wisdom and longer life, to the benefits of Nigerian football and the society in general,” Ikpea prayed.
