2024 World Consumer Rights Day

The country’s telecoms industry regulator, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), joins the global celebration to mark the 2024 World Consumer Rights Day on Friday 15 March.

The agency says in alignment with the theme of the 2024 World Consumer Rights Day; “Fair and Responsible AI for Consumers”, the NCC wishes to emphasise the rights of the consumers in this digital and AI-driven age.

“Expectations of consumers is very simple; Quality of Service (QoS). This Quality of Service (QoS) we are talking about is total consumer experience”.

However, the Commission enjoins Nigerian telecommunications consumers to “take advantage of our consumers complaints channel:
*Dial 622 to report issues related to telecommunications services
*To stop unsolicited messages, text STOP to 2442
*Dial 112 when you are in distress or need emergency attention.
*Email: [email protected]
*Visit https://consumer.ncc.gov.ng

To all Nigerian telecommunications consumers, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) wishes you a happy World Consumer Rights Day!
