This is not a good time for Ms Motunrayo Olukemi Ilesanmi and her only son, as they are currently living in fear and danger over an attack on her apartment in Agbado area of Ifo Local Government area, Ogun State at the weekend.
Independent News Express reports that Ms. Ilesanmi, a journalist with P.M. EXPRESS, a Lagos-based digital newspaper, has been living with her son, Tomisin Adeleke Ilesanmi at Ope ilu area of Agbado station in Ifo Local Government of Ogun State for past years, but in the last few weeks, some strange people have been visiting the apartment to threaten her to vacate the house else she would meet her death very soon.
“I don’t know what I did for these people. They have been visiting my house on a couple of times. On each occasion they visited, they always insisted that I should vacate my house, not only that I should leave the entire community for the safety of my life and that of my only son,” Ilesanmi narrated.
When asked what could have prompted this threat, the journalist said she did not know what could have happened.
“I did not know what happened. I lodged a report at the police station. I don’t think the police can do anything to it judging from the insecurity situation in the country where the security agents are helpless.,” she said.
