Magboro Coach Disappointed As, Dosu Joseph FC Win Aremu Cup

Coach of Magboro Football Club, Fellix Festus has expressed disappointment with the heavy defeat his team suffered in the recent final of Afeez Olalekan Aremu football tourney.

The final held on Friday at the Rehabilitation sport center, Isheri, Ojodu, Lagos.

Dosu Joseph whitewashed Magboro 4-0 in the encounter watched by mammoth crowd.

Felix who was in charge of Magboro FC said their opponents were better side but blamed the defeat as a result of absence of their key players in the team.

“We knew it would be a difficult match for us because Dosu Joseph are very good side but i was surprised that we could conced four goals against them and i congratulate them for their victory,” he said.

Dosu Joseph FC coach, Kayode Agboola said the victory was well deserved and commended his boys for the job well done.

In the presentation, Dosu Joseph received a giant trophy with prize money, while outstanding players were rewarded with the cash prize.

Meanwhile Dosu Joseph Football Club management have concluded plan to celebrate 23 years anniversary of the club success.

The anniversary event would hold on 18 December, Monday,2023, by 8am at the rehabilitation Sports centre, Isheri, Ojodu, Lagos.
