Head Coach of Chekas United feeders, Richard Nwosu has boasted that his intention was to beat Team 360 Football Club at home in the week one of the LSFA State League which commenced on Tuesday at the FIFA legacy football pitch, Surulere, Lagos.
Team 360 FC failed to secure home victory following 2-2 draw played against Chekas United feeders in the week one of the league.
Nwosu who was disappointed with the outcome of the game said he was not happy that the encounter ended in stalemate saying that his intention was to beat our opponents before their fans.
“I was not happy that the match ended in a draw. I intended to take my three points from Team 360, but unfortunately, they forced us to play a draw. In terms of performance, my boys were not too bad, but I need to work more on their attack before our next game,” he said.
Nwosu also admitted that their opponents gave them a tough match and commended both teams for scintillating performance during the entire duration.
In his own comment,Team 360 Coach, Shola Raji said it was a disappointing result despite his team’s performance and assured that his boys would be better in their next game.
He disclosed that most of his boys are young and only few of them played LSFA State League last season.
“It was not a bad start for us, and I need to commend my boys for their impressive form. Many of them did not play in the league in their footballing career, and yet they still put on good performances. The match has ended in a draw, and we are looking forward to our next match,” he said.
