Beyond Limits striker, Merveille Akinoche has commended his teammates after securing 1-0 victory over Seamoriow FC on Wednesday morning in the ongoing Lagos Supremacy Cup,
Akinoche netted the only goal in the 55th minutes to seal victory for Beyond Limits.
Speaking after the match, Akinoche said the victory was well deserved and commended his teammates for their fighting spirit throughout the game.
“It was a good start for us and I am happy that I scored the winning goal.Although we still need to do more in our subsequent matches.
Speaking in the same vein, Beyond Limits Coach, Joseph Olumide said playing in Lagos Supremacy Cup is to assess his players and expose them to the new environment.
“I am satisfied with the team’s performance.What i taught them in training was what they were exhibiting against Seamoriow.So I am satisfied and we take the game one after the other,”he said.
In other results, Dino defeated 36 Lion 2-0,Ikorodu City feeders humbled Real Sapphire 4-3.
Meanwhile Dino will face Broad City, while Seamoriow battle MS Success FC as 36 Lion Real Sapphire FC later in the day.
