Former Leader of Ikeja Football Coaches Council, David Dosu popularly known as Apelete has been declared winner by the chairman electoral committee headed by Lanre Olojo-Kosoko at the just concluded elections of Lagos State Football Coaches Association LSFCA.
The elections, which held on Saturday afternoon at NIS Conference Hall, saw the 13 candidates fought for the twelve executive seats at the elections monitored and observed by the national officers of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association and cordinators of Southwest zone of the national body.
Although Dosu, who contested for the post of chairmanship polled 42 votes and he was declared winner unopposed.
In the position of Training Officer, it was kneely contested election between Fatai Akande and Abiodun Salau.
Our correspondent who monitored the poll observed the accredited delegates of 23 football councils in the state cast their votes without fear of favour.
Akande was declared winner having polled 40 votes, while his opponent, Salau polled 2 votes.
In other results, Ibiyemi Adeleke known as Pepper polled 42 votes and declared winner as first vice chairman unopposed. Uchenna Samuel Eke, who also contested for second vice chairman unopposed was declared winner having polled 42 votes.
Musbau Oseni, who contested for the position of secretary unopposed was declared winner having polled 42 votes. Babalola Issa who contested for assistant secretary unopposed polled 41 votes as was declared winner.
In other results, Victor Akinmoyo who contested for financial secretary unopposed was also declared a winner having polled 42 votes.Ajayi Adekunle who contested for Treasurer unopposed was declared a winner with 41 votes as Micheal Bagbe who contested for position of PRO unopposed was declared winner having polled 42 votes.
Savage Yusuf was also declared a winner unopposed and elected as Assistant Training Officer, polled 42 votes.Abel Sohe who contested for position of social secretary /welfare unopposed was declared a winner with 42 votes as Olorunmbe Rafiu who contested for provost unopposed was declared winner having polled 42 votes.
