The Technical Committee of Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) has announced Friday, September 8 as the draw date for the Lagos Pre Season Tourney.
The much-anticipated tourney would kick off on September 18 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formally known as Onikan Stadium.
The date for the draws/press conference was approved at the technical commiittee meeting held recently at the LSFA conference room.
The Chairman of the committee, Liameed Olawale Gafar expressed his members readiness to stage a memorable tournament and also reminded some club owners who are yet to pay their registration fees to do so before the midnight of Tuesday.
“We have concluded plans to hold this draw/media conference this Friday and we are ready on our own part to stage a pre season tournament that would prepare our NLO, NNL Lagos based teams to prepare them for the new season.
“We have seen more than ten clubs so far paid for their registration fees and we are expecting other club owners to pay their registration fees before the deadline date so that we can have a good number of teams for the pre season tournament,”he said.
Teams that have completed their registration fees are Magic Stars, Emmydinho FC, Broad City, Buruj FC, Ikorodu City, TCCG, Okaka FC and Lekki United.
Others are As Racines, Smart City, Real Sapphire, BYT FC and 1472 FC.
