Lagos Ex-internationals Cup: Dosu Predicts Tough Match Against FC Barbington

Head Coach of Dosu Joseph Football Club, Joseph Dosu has admitted that their first leg match against FC Barbington in Lagos Ex-internationals Cup would be a tough one.

The Ex-internationals Cup which kicks off across various centres next week is organised by Lagos State Football Association,LSFA.

All the 32 Ex-internationals based in Lagos have adopted a football club in their own names in home and away format competition sponsored by Bet9ja Foundation.

FC Dosu would clash with FC Bode Barbington on Monday by 4pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena popularly known as Onikan Stadium.

Ex international, Bode Barbington adopted a premier side,Ikorodu City FC, while Dosu Joseph adopted his team, Dosu Joseph FC who are currently playing in NLO.

Commenting on the Monday clash,Dosu said the game would be a difficult match for his players considering the fact that they would play NLO match on Sunday and proceed to Onikan Stadium on Monday to honour another match.

“To say the fact our match against FC Barbington would not be an easy match at all not because we are playing against Ikorodu City but because we would play NLO match on Sunday and face FC Barbington on Monday evening.

“However, my boys and other backroom staff would do their best and whatever the outcome of the game, we would accept the result in good faith,”he said.

Former 1996 football Olympic gold medalist said his boys would respect FC Barbington but assured their fans good outing in the encounter.
