Ex international, Bode Babington has confessed that their second leg against FC Dosu in the ongoing Lagos Ex-International Cup was a tough one.
Babington stated this after his team played 1-1 with FC Dosu on Friday morning at the Ojodu Berger Isheri Sports Centre.
With this result, FC Babington qualifed 3-2 on aggregate having won their first leg at home 2-1 on Monday at Onikan Stadium.
Babington adopted Ikorodu FC in tournament, while 1996 Atlanta football gold medalist, Dosu Joseph adopted Dosu Football Club.
Speaking after the match, Babington commended both teams for the impressive performance noted that their opponents gave his team a tough time throughout the encounter.
“It was a difficult game and I must commend our opponents for giving us a tough match.The game was kneely contested and I congratulate my boys for qualifying to the next stage of the tournament ,”he said.
In his own comment,Dosu admitted that the match was a tough one saying that both teams really gave a good account of themselves.
He however congratulated FC Barbington for qualifying to the next stage and commended his boys for impressive performance throughout the encounter.
