Island Stars Football Academy has signed an Italian Coach, Emanuele Chiuseli to add to the backroom staff of the academy in preparation for the 2024/25 new season.
This was confirmed by founder of the Academy, Victor Akinmoyo over the weekend that the academy has fortified the backroom staff by employing well experienced Italian Coach that would bring his expertise to bear in the academy activities.
“I am glad to announce to our parents, guardians and supporters that we have signed a contract deal with an Italian Coach,Emanuele Chiuseli as part of our preparations for the new season.Henceforth he would oversee the academy activities and liase with other coaches to bring the best out of our young players.
“Our academy has many engagements this season both within and outside the country and I think Chiuseli would use the wealth of experience to help the academy by achieving its set targets throughout his stay in academy,”he said.
Akinmoyo said the academy is ready for the new season noting that academy has already established in Kano and planning to set up the same academy in Ilorin soonest.
“I went to Kano on Sunday to set up Island Stars Football Academy in the state and I was delighted with the support we got in the Northern state.We have also concluded plans to set up the same academy in Ilorin soonest and this is to tell you that the academy is waxing stronger every year, “he concluded.
Meanwhile, which academy started operations four years ago, has four centres in Lagos. No fewer than 150 kids from various categories registered for the academy, while some of them are on scholarship courtesy of Island Stars Football Academy management.
