The U-13 and U-15 finals of the Humins football tournament will be held on Saturday at the Federal Medical Centre Sports Centre, Iyana-Era, Badagry Express Road, Lagos.
In U -13 category, J.Unity 3:0 FA tackle Soccer Stars by 9:30am, while Young Fellaz battle A247 FA by 11:30am in U -15 category.
Match coordinator, Sunday Ehon thanked the participants for their commitment to the competition and congratulated the finalists for their brilliant effort in all their matches.
To Ehon, the tourney was not organised for fun or Jamboree rather to give the young players and kids a platform to showcase their natural talents.The chairman of Tico FC, noted that the tourney has really achieved its objectives on the development of the players and exposure the players gained during the tournament.
“It was a successful outing for all the participating teams because talents were discovered and teams showed their scoring prowess in the tournament. I am glad that our objectives have been achieved and I wish the finalists best of lucky as they are preparing for the finals on Saturday, ” he said.
Ehon, however, thanked the sponsor of the tournament and commended the organising committee for the job well done and assured the finalists good officiating and organisation in Saturday’s finals.
