House Committee On Sports Commends Director General Moronkola For Changes At NIS


The House of Representatives Committee on Sports recently paid a working visit to National Institute For Sports (NIS), Surulere, Lagos, with members commending the Director-General Professor Olawale Moronkola for repositioning the Institute.

The committee led by its Chairman, Hon. Kabiru Amadu said they were impressed with the hands -on Performance of the DG which is attested to by the infrastructural and human capacity development that has been done under his leadership.


Other members of the committee like Honourable Uchenna Okonkwo, Fayinka Moses, Mukhtar Chawai Mukhtar ,Sunday Ojo also expressed satisfaction with what they saw on ground at the NIS despite the paucity of funds.

“If you could achieve so much with little resources, then you can make more impact with the right budgetary allocations and government support. Be rest assured that we shall lend you support to make your job easier and fruitful,” Honourable Kabir assured.
