A clarion call has been made to all well placed individuals, corporate bodies, and particularly, Nigerians in diaspora on the needs to always give back to the society.
Speaking with journalists, Mr. Bolanle Orija, said it is time for Nigerians to show up as their brother’s keeper, in view of the socio-economic and political challenges bedevilling the country.
“We must show love and support to each other and it must go beyond mere rhetorics.
“We must support and align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and continually lend a helping hand to support each other.
“And that’s what my organisation, Bola Orija Charity Foundation, have been doing for some time now, providing health, educational supportts, as well as, skills acquisition trainings for the people.
“We remain committed to empowering the people and also inspiring their future,” he added.
The youthful businessman and philanthropist further admonished that it is equally important that well placed individuals always go back to their roots and communities, to support their people and help inspire their hopes.
“There is a popular Yoruba adage that says, ‘a rich man in the midst of the poor, is equally poor’.”
“Therefore, Bola Orija Charity Foundation, is planning something big and would once again, be going back to the communities to continue our empowerment programmes,” he added.
