GTI Group Reveals First NPFL Match To Be Broadcasted on FRCN

The strategic partners to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), the GTI Group has officially announced that the matchday 32 clash between Nasarawa United and Akwa United will be broadcasted by the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Head of Media/Publicity of GTI/TNFF Mr. Andrew Ekejiuba, on Friday and shared on the Nigeria Sport Centre platform.

The statement further highlighted that the match which will be played on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 at the Lafia Stadium by 4pm will aim at thrilling football fans who have been longing to have the NPFL return to radio commentary.

Recall that the GTI recently facilitated a deal which led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between FRCN and the NPFL to broadcast live matches, the broadcast of the game between Nasarawa United and Akwa United is one of dividends of the deal.
